As CEO of AAA Engineering, Brian is responsible for all facets of the firm’s operations

A civil engineer with nearly 15 years of experience, prior to joining AAA Brian provided preliminary design engineering, construction and program management, and owner’s representative services for numerous transportation-sector clients.

His extensive experience includes serving as the Owners’ Representative Design Manager for the Illinois Tollway’s ambitious $4 billion program to widen I-294 from Balmoral Avenue to 95th Street.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

As the Chief Operating Officer supports all facets of the operations of the firm. Prior to joining AAA, Shyam consulted and served in executive roles with some of the largest engineering firms in Midwest.

Shyam has extensive experience in renewable energy and has worked in multiple countries.

At AAA, he is committed to growing the company by providing its clients a trusted resource.

Rachel Borenstein is president and owner of AAA Engineering. Rachel works hard to create an environment which emphasizes the strengths of each employee.

SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER/ENGINEERING MANAGER

Alex Farekas has over forty years of professional engineering experience. Alex manages resources, scheduling of staff, defining priorities, and performing QA/QC activities to ensure clients are well served.

Alex also develops engineering proposals for new work in conjunction with our business development staff. Throughout his professional career Alex has designed and implemented unique customized systems to catalog and track technical activities, enabling the smooth, efficient flow of the production of projects.

SENIOR TRACTION POWER ENGINEER

Sheldon is a client focused expert in the field of Traction Power engineering design and construction oversight for the DC railroad industry. He has over forty years of experience with multiple transit agencies.

Sheldon has worked for several City of Chicago departments. He developed electrical design criteria and specifications used throughout the CTA and roadway lighting in use today.

Her extensive expertise includes power design, lighting, fire alarm and security. Angela also works on design-build projects. She serves as project manager carrying the project from proposal to close out.

Mohammad has over twenty-five years’ experience as a mechanical and plumbing engineer. He has wide ranging experience in project management, planning and design of HVAC, Plumbing systems, Temperature Control and Energy Conservation Systems for various types of projects

Mohammad also has extensive experience in Construction Management services. He has served as Project Manager and Resident Engineer on many projects. He excels in the field and is recognized by various agencies for his excellent work. He successfully manages between all parties to achieve best results and stay on schedule.
